Arcadia Neighborhood
Things To Do Near 32nd Street & Indian School Road

We’re at 3236 E Indian School Rd, right at the 32nd Street corner of the Arcadia / Biltmore overlap. Within a ten-minute radius you can do most of what makes east Phoenix worth living in. Here’s the short list.
Within 5 minutes
• Biltmore Fashion Park — Outdoor shopping, big-name and local stores, decent patio dining options.
• Wrigley Mansion — Drive up the hill for the view. Open for tours and a great brunch spot.
• Steele Indian School Park — Big walking paths, picnic areas, and the historic Indian School buildings.
• Postino Arcadia — Wine, bruschetta, patio.
• LGO Hospitality spots — La Grande Orange, Chelsea’s, The Henry — clustered just east of us.
Within 10 minutes
• Camelback Mountain trailheads — Echo Canyon and Cholla. Both world-class hikes. Bring water; respect the heat.
• Phoenix Mountain Preserve trails — Easier, longer, with sunset views back over the city.
• Old Town Scottsdale — Galleries, the Saturday morning farmers market, and a walkable bar scene.
• Heard Museum — Native American art and culture. Worth a half-day.
• Desert Botanical Garden — Especially good in spring and during the Las Noches de las Luminarias holiday lights.
The pizza-first afternoon plan
1. 11 AM — Hike Echo Canyon while it’s still cool.
2. 1 PM — Walk in to Arcadia Pizza Company. Order a Wisco-Roni Tavern pie and a Classic Square Detroit. Split with a friend.
3. 3 PM — Wander Postino patio or Biltmore Fashion Park.
4. 5 PM — Sunset back at the base of Camelback.
That’s a full Arcadia day. We’ve heard worse plans.
